Featuring a PL2303 chipset, it offers compatibility with Windows (10/8.1/8/7/XP), Mac OS X 10.6 and above, and Linux. The adapter supports a data transfer rate of up to 1 Mbps and is powered by the USB port, requiring no external power adapter. It includes standard USB Type A Male to 9-pin DB9 RS-232 serial connectors. The tinned copper conductor (Wire gauge #24 and #28) and triple shielding ensure excellent data transfer. The adapter supports remote wake and power management along with a full automatic handshake protocol for serial communication. With gold-plated connectors for durability, this plug-and-play adapter offers simple installation after a one-time driver installation.
