Expansion Modules for Greater Port Density

In order to install extra network modules with more fiber or copper ports, IT professionals can use the Firebox M4800/M5800 appliances' higher port density options. Each appliance features two expansion module slots that can accommodate either 8 x 1 Gb copper, 8 x 1 Gb fiber, or 4 x 10 Gb fiber. For even greater versatility, the module options are the same as those on our mid-range Firebox devices.
