QNAP TS-h1887XU-RP-E2334-16G 2U 18 Bay Rackmount NAS Storage is built for large data tasks, business storage, and fast network work in rack environments. It runs on an Intel Xeon E-2334 processor with 4 cores and 8 threads, a base speed of 3.4GHz, and boost speed up to 4.8GHz, using a 64-bit x86 platform. The system supports a floating point unit, AES-NI encryption engine, and GPU pass-through, with graphics support available through a PCIe adapter.
This NAS includes 16GB ECC DDR4 memory installed in one slot and can be expanded up to 128GB using four ECC UDIMM DDR4 slots. Dual-DIMM setups require matching memory modules. It features 5GB flash memory with dual boot OS protection for system safety. Storage support includes 18 hot-swappable drive bays, with 12 bays for 3.5-inch SATA drives and 6 bays for 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. Optional M.2 support is available through a QM2 PCIe adapter, and SSD cache acceleration is supported. For networking, it offers two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 10GBASE-T ports supporting speeds from 1G to 10G. Expansion to 25 Gigabit Ethernet is possible using a PCIe adapter.
