The Linux VoIP IP phone supports up to 4 lines, 4 SIP accounts, and 5-way audio conferencing, which makes it ideal for professional office settings.It features a 4.3-inch (480 x 272) TFT LCD screen offering a user-friendly interface. The phone consists of 5 programmable XML soft keys, 4 dual-color line keys, and function keys for convenient operation about messaging, phonebook, transferring, conferencing, holding, headset, muting, and speakerphone functions. The IP phone has dual-switched auto-sensing Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps) with integrated PoE capability, thus enabling users to get both power and networking via a single cable. It has HD audio capabilities on the handset as well as a full-duplex speakerphone.

GXP2140 also provides support for Bluetooth 2.1, which can be used to connect to headsets or other mobile devices, USB ports to import and export information, and EHS for Plantronics headsets.
